Thankfully, both GIMR and Scottie have volunteered to help us out with the moderatorial duties. How cool is that?

Rest assured, I put them both through the usual screening process. Both of them have agreed to moderate the way I moderate. Both of them have also been given the laundry-list of moderatorial "dos" and "don'ts" and have agreed to them.

As always, both of these fine folks are onboard on a trial basis. If anyone has any complaints about the way they moderate, just send me a PM and we'll work things out.

NOW:

Regardless of whether the votes end up choosing "one or more things need to change," we're going to be more vigilant about enforcing the rules that already are in place, ESPECIALLY IN THE CELESTIAL FORUM. Expect off-topic posts to get split off, especially in that forum, a lot more often.

Have y'all been keeping up with RenegadeOfPhunk's suggestions in the poll about things changing around here? Well, I agree 100% with what he says, and even if we change nothing else, we're going to be adhering to his advice. In short, we're going "heavily moderate" the Celestial Forum, just like the forum description says, for pretty much the reasons that he advocates.

So, once more, please give a warm welcome to GIMR and Scottie, our new moderators!
