I am comfortable, particularly about lenghty and rambling posts that have no real LDS connections being sent to the Off-topic forum. That is what it is for. Free discussion can continue there ...

I don't think that has anything to do with this? Jersey Girl didn't split off anything that was sent to off-topic in the last few days other than her own thread she started. I talked to liz about the whole Japan derailment. I am thankful for all the mods that take the time to clean up this board.
I know bond and Liz were relieved to have the help!
I don't know why this thread was started -- it could be that merc just doesn't feel comfortable with Jersey Girl being a mod.
