TO EVERYONE:

I got the information about Jersey Girl refraining from splitting the thread from Jersey Girl herself, not Moniker.

LOL, that's right, because I'd be so busy running after you making racist comments, right?

Dude, read Liz's sig and be quiet.

I support Jersey Girl.

Hey, what about that suggestion of putting charcoal-impregnated absorbent material underneath Mercury and Boaz?

So she should be held blameless for that.

Well, I was really asking her who split them and why she didn't reply to my email. I emailed her asking her about the thread and she picked it up and never replied. Truth be told that does bother me.

I wouldn't take it too personally, Jersey Girl hasnt replied to my PM's recently. I just assume she is either busy, she cannot find reply for the things I wrote or she doesn't want to talk to me, but what can one do about that?

Thanks for the defense Pirate, but bcspace is talking about my not accepting the church's stance on black people. He thinks I should be ok with the church's history of demeaning folks of color. He cares not one bit about what I went through during my five years in the church, nor does he care that for the most part, I'm over it. It's also ironic that he still labels me a racist, given the fact that my avatar clearly shows that I'm not. But people like him will come to the most heinous conclusions to support their views.

I'm a spitfire and will say what I think when pushed. Lately I just don't care about the cliques that have formed on this board over the time it has been up, I have too much to deal with with regards to my health, life, school, work, etc. I'm over my period of being LDS. I'm on to newer and happier things. I feel that if my LDS friends can accept where I am in life, than people like bcspace are nonentities. He just needs to justify himself. If he really had something against me, he'd bring it. All he has is my belief that the church hasn't been fair to black people, and is more than a generation behind the rest of the world in its view of us.

There are cliques on this board? Why am I always the last person to pick up on that kind of stuff?

Dang!

Yes, there are cliques. Usually only two or three people in a group, but one can tell who backs who if you look. There's the group that thinks they're super intelligent, who stick together to make themselves feel super-intelligent. They do that because no one else gives a damn about stroking their egos. There are the uber-TBMs who think the rest of us are all going to hell (to hell with what LDS theology actually says). There's the rabid-atheist group who every now and again starts threads about how religion must die, and all adherents to religion are clinging to some sort of pseudo-reality...they sometimes mesh with the super-intellects. There's the "let's make a bulls-eye out of every unsuspecting Mormon we can" group.

Then there are the normal people who just want to talk, have fun, discuss things. They make up 90% of the board.

Ah! This thread was split when it was derailed (my comment to derail it was in jest by the way -- humor impaired folks:). So, a "moderator" left a note and split the thread, and NO name was attached.

Helllooo? Isn't this why this entire episode started in the first place? A thread was split -- I didn't know who did it? I asked which mod did it...... etc...... etc....

Why not just put your "mod" name. This isn't MAD -- we don't have anonymous mods, so why aren't names signed? by the way, I don't care who split this thread, nor do I care who left a note. It's just sort of absurd that it happened AGAIN in this thread.

I did it.

Because it's not necessary.

I didn't think it was that important. But I guess I can start doing it.

Why is it absurd? A derailment is a derailment.
