Yes, Annie is a cutie! She's such good company for me. I'll really miss her when she goes to kindergarten for a full day next year!

Here are all my adorable girls:

PS. Jason, I hadn't thought of that! Lots of movie villains do have beards! Personally, I love beards. On men. (GIMR :P)

As You see (or don't see) on my avatar, I have beard.

Antishock, if I remember correctly, you're a parent. To me, people should be prepared for age-appropriate behavior in children, and, in my opinion, Seth's actions are to be expected from a little boy of his age. That doesn't mean he didn't get corrected for putting the water hose in the dryer vent. He did. He was only four at the time, so I had him and Annie bring me towels from upstairs to soak up the water, and then sent him home for the day. Maybe I'm a softie, but that was the way I "laid the smack down". At any rate, he hasn't done it again, so I guess he understood what he did was wrong.

I guess I put up with him because I love him and think he's adorable. And he's my daughter's friend. He's ornery, but a good kid.

My Son:

At about 7 he decided to cut an electrical cord in half-that was still plugged in the wall. He took a seal chunk out of the kitchen knife and got a bit of a shock from the ensuing electrical charge.

A year or so later he decided to make a bomb out of a pen and shoved a bunch of stick matches into a pen and they caught fire, shot a flame out of the pen on started to burn his pillow. Fortunately we put it out and the house did not burn down.

As young teen he had a fascination with firecrackers.

No wonder that shoots large artillery cannons now as a Marine.

Now he is, according to Jeffrey Holland (or at least he was when Holland saw him last).

KA, they definitely get their looks from their mama!

You guys were near to me in that pic!

Yeah, bearded ladies are kind of strange...

But luckily it's only one hair. I have a cousin, she has a full beard, it's kind of creepy...

At least you pulled it out. It only gets freaky when you see a woman who has one hair growing out of her chin so freaking long that you're scared it will come to life and attempt to strangle you.

Come to find out that DARE (in secular school) taught them that you were a drug user if you smoked or drank....

:)

Yeah, we had that problem here, too. A Mormon woman (from my former ward) was conducting the DARE education at my children's elementary school, and she included beer right next to things like cocaine and heroin in a list of drugs! I was appalled, and looked up more about what DARE had to say about alcohol and cigarettes, and she was, in my opinion, misrepresenting the program. She no longer teaches the program. I don't think that happens only with Mormons, though, and it's likely that many educators are, in an effort to curb teen drinking, going overboard in their vilification of alcohol.

Well, mine were taught by police officers. My ex and I had just started dating and he drank a Guinness occasionally and smoked. So my daughters ran to my parents and told them I was dating a drug user. Egad!

I understand why they want them to steer young people clear of gate way drugs, yet, it seemed a bit much...

LMAO! I was once amused watching my great grandmother go over her chin with a tweezer. Her hair was so fine you wouldn't have been able to see it, but she was determined! At first I didn't know what she was doing, but then she grinned at me and explained that she had to keep up her grooming standards. Even at 96, ya gotta keep the mojo.
