I watched those things that said Satan was wearing G's (not G strings ;) ).

The only spirits I know of, I drink!

But surely you believe in daemons.

Jeeze, I leave for two months and you guys go romping through the Mormonism again. If it wasn't for Scratch, Boaz and a couple others, this board would be care bear land for the rejected of MAD.

Care-a-Lot is the Celestial forum. I'm sure there's a reason I spend very little time there.

I don't know if it would be better. I'm not sure how happy I am with the idea of having me be reused as the next epidemic disease, major criminal, or politician.

It would be better because it is much simpler and more realistic.

No, I'm saying the rules might change. Adults live with far fewer rules then children do. That does not mean that taking away the rules children have will make them grow up faster. Also Pirate, note that the laws God institutes vary from dispensation to dispensation. Christians look at the Mosaic Law and see it as an inferior law. Do you really think we're so close to the laws that govern heaven now that there won't be major changes?

That whole premortal thing. Why would you think he doesn't know the motherr of his children? God can raise lots of people at once. God can do things people can't. That's why he's God. I agree that men who have no respect for women won't have any in heaven. I also know that men who don't have respect for women don't get exalted and don't get even one wife. So it works out.

I think that if God is allknowing he would give us the laws straight away and change nothing as to reduce confusion.

Right answer! Same here. The question that asbesto is asking is somewhat peripheral to the question, "Are we in the image and likeness of God?" If we are, then one could easily move on to the likelihood that we're going to exist after death. If that is the case...whatever is...is. We just don't know if the clothes, assuming that we wear some type of covering, are made out of those materials that we are familiar with here. I would doubt not. Just as I would doubt that any facial/body hair...if there is any...would be the outgrowth of dead cells. Wouldn't make sense. What does? We just don't know.

Here we are trying to put our earthly selves/being into a future state where what we will become may be pretty much irrelevant/disconnected to what we are now, to some extent or another. Who knows?

As I tell my students though, confusion is in many cases the first step to learning. There's something to be said for learning things on our own.
