Who is your favorite LDS “apologist”?
Goodk’s comment about Sorenson in another thread got me to wondering what LDS “apologist” does each person likes the most. My personal favorite is Kevin Barney with Brant Gardner bringing up a close second.
What about you? Who do you respect/like the most in the LDS “apologetic” community (if anyone)?

Dr. Peterson has always been kind to me, and answered any questions that I asked him in a very amicable manner. Although I don't approve of his treatment of others here, my interactions with him have been favorable, and I have a respect for his knowledge.
Tied for favorite apologists I like to converse with HERE are BC and Gaz. ;)

Really? People have favorite apologists?
To me, it's like being shown into a room with several piles of dog crap on the floor, all slightly different in one respect or another, and my escort asks me, "Which one is your favorite?"
I don't know about you, but I don't really care for dog crap.

God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

Well for me I participate here and on MAD because I find the subject matter interesting. I enjoy discussions where the participants can stay on topic, away from personal attacks, and can present or accept a strong argument. For example I read someone here make the observation that Katherine The Great on MAD seemed to have a level head. And while she isn't an apologists per se she is apparently a believer.

Yeah... I also like Kevin Barney. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable (especially about the JST Bible) but he is a very humble and friendly guy too. At a FAIR conference a few years ago, I enjoyed having conversations with him during lunch. I found him to be very liberal and open minded. Ben Spackman and Kerry Shirts are cool guys too.
Who is my least favorite? I'd rather not say... but a hint is that his name sounds like Pa-Moron. ;)
