The MAD crowd was upset about a few of them being banned from CARM and not being able to reply. I agreed that doing so was poor form on the part of CARM. If someone can't reply it's best to lock the thread -- imho, or at least let others know the person can no longer reply.

Letting others know he can't reply defeats the purpose of the action. Tarski has a lesson to learn, and that is that he is worth horsepucky on that board. And he will learn it, one way or another.

After reading what transpired, my guess is that they were frustrated because they had no good answers for the points your raised in your response to Bill Hamblin. Plus you challenged Dr. Peterson after he announced he was bored. Should have just waited till he recharged on donuts.

When I was banned, it told me that my "suspension" would last until the year 2037, or something like that. Shortly after I began posting here, they blocked my IP address in a desperate attempt to prevent me from reading and commenting upon their tripe.

California Kid informed readers of the thread that Tarski won't be able to reply 'cause he's been suspended. Bravo!

A bold move. He had better watch it, though, or he'll wind up banned himself!

I'm still jealous that you are the only MAD member to be banished to Purgatory. LOL I was a former Mod, and they didn't even put me there. You must be really bad, Scratchy! ;)

Actually, there *have* been others who've been sent to Purgatory. Unless I'm mistaken, we once did a thread on it. For instance, the poster called "Serious" (believed to be a sockpuppet for Hammer) has also been consigned to The Purg'.

I'm just curious, why is there such an obsession with what goes on over there?

This has been asked before. Use the search function and see what you find.

I withdraw the question if it requires me to actually look something up.
