What about posting a little drunk? Anyone ever do that?

Interesting thread. Helps clarify things a bit.

I remember when I was growing up in California and was ordained a priest in my ward. One Sunday my friend showed up to the sacrament table stoned on grass. Blessed the sacrament.

He's now a Bishop (or was a couple of years ago) in that same building where we grew up. Interesting how people end up taking different paths.

Mercury...high in a temple session, huh? You're one cool dude. So is The Dude.

TD, from the point of view of some ex-mo's on this thread...you haven't lived!! Alcohol and grass is where it's at.

Regards,
MG

LOL!

Word on the street though is that I would actually be a detriment to Team Exmo. I sometimes watch chic-flicks.

You don't have to join the team.

I'm in the band.

I play tuba.

Always ...

i remain with red wine. In my early years I preferred pálinka. ( You can educate Yourself here. ) As the time passed pálinka became stronger and stronger (or did I become weaker?)

About mixed things?

Um, there's speculation about one poster who does that....but it's only speculation.

Hey MG,

TD, from the point of view of some ex-mo's on this thread...you haven't lived!! Alcohol and grass is where it's at.

Yep, some would say I'm a little extreme when it comes to health and fitness stuff! :-) I don't mind at all! I REALLY like feeling healthy, strong, and well.

The idea of feeling sick, or even destroying brain cells turns me off in pretty dramatic ways!

The thing is if I ever do want to drink a soda or a beer or whatever, I feel totally comfortable that I can do so without any judgments or guilt. I do think there could be times where a glass of wine may be valuable and healthy, (if yoga and meditation don't relax me during times of stress I'll for sure try some).

I do not view my choices as right or wrong in a moral sense, but try to live in harmony with what is most healthy for me. In other words, I just do better with life as I live as healthy as I can.

I always smile when I hear folks say that non-believers just couldn't handle the rules! LOL!

Having said this, I'm pretty sure I could EASILY become addicted to nitrous oxide!

;-)

I have a water purifier to clean out all the icky stuff!

Does it clean out the pharmaceuticals that are now in our drinking water?

By the way, I've sometimes wondered how pure, natural ice is. There are probably millions of little critters who were floating around in it as it froze. Not to mention that other animals often like to bathe or swim in lakes.

I'm on my fourth Rolling Rock pale ale right now. Beer is just so soothing, I can see why Joseph Smith and all his horny buddies were into it and the WoW recommends it. But the question was about mixed drinks. The best mixed drink I've ever had is the El Nino margarita from El Torrito restaurant. I think you can find it online, it's something like triple sec plus contreu plus blue caraco and probably rum or something and maybe Chambord? but it's impossible to reproduce right.

I don't drink at all anymore, but I used to have a couple glasses of white zinfadel or Mike's Hard Lemonade on the weekends. Gin and Tonic is pretty much the only hard liquor I could stand the taste of.

White zinfadel is a very mild tasting wine and former nondrinkers can often tolerate its taste more than other alcohols.
