How many time have you been silenced over at MAD?

I've been suspended at least three times, I think.

Um....a lot. If you count the sockpuppets going back to last year probably 10-15 times. Also was banned as Bond for a while, and also have been suspended a few times. Recent Suspensions included:

-Once for asking when DCP filmed that Wisconsin HOrse skull video.
-Once for comparing Joseph Smith to Bill Clinton, suggesting that Joseph Smith would do the "I did not have sexual relations..." bit.

Also:

it appears that mocnarf isn't banned...only suspended. Of course that doesn't help in the long run but you got to make a distinction between suspensions and bannings where banning permanently locks an account, while a suspension will go away after a few days or whatever (well unless they suspend you for 30+ years like they did Scratch).

I have been suspended 4 times. It seems that after they changed their name last year they were a little more tolerant for a while. But over the last few months they have really become anal about anything negative said about Joseph Smith or DCP.

First time suspended: Used the capital letter "M" for masturbation instead of the moderators desired phrase of "breaking the law of chastity".

Banned first time: For posting here.

Banned second time: For joking that Mitt Romney had seen his Father march with Martin Luther King, with his "spiritual eyes".

There was apparently some scuttlebutt that LifeonaPlate and Selek were responsible for their joking about Severian being a sock puppet, however that would have to be discounted as being too capricious even for a MAD mod, since Severian and Moksha never once posted together in the same time frame*.

I am sure this isn't news to any of you as you have seen it in operation.
But there are a few there who intentionally have attempted to provoke me a few times in the hopes I would say something to get the thread closed or myself banned.
This strategy of theirs occasionally works for them.

I was banned once. The mods didn't ban me in response to Juliann's baseless complaints, but Scott Gordon swooped in and went over their heads and banned me for "not cooperating with moderators", another completely baseless accusation. The one request that the moderators had made of me (to remove a reference to Juliann's statement in another thread) was incredibly stupid and petty, but I did as they asked. Juliann, on the other hand, had harassed me repeatedly since my arrival at FAIR, repeatedly calling me a liar and a plagiarist.

I was invited back after a while (I think seven months or so), per Brant Gardner's request. I was made a "pundit". However, I left the place for good shortly after my return, for obvious reasons. I don't want to talk to believers badly enough to put up with the moderator-sanctioned mistreatment.

I've often commented on the amusing irony that MAD has become the mirror image of the board that they once reviled for is bias: the Tanner's old Lighthouse board.

First, I was not able to post but only respond; then someone asked what a Joseph Smith movie trailer would show and I responded Emma pounding on the door with Joseph holding it shut from the other side with one of the Partridge sisters inside the room (likely getting dressed). That was the last straw and I got banned. I think that was a week after I signed up here. I have not tried to log back in as I like Truth, Justice and the American way and they do not like it; they can't handle the Truth.

I was a Moderator for FAIR/MAD. Juliann and Dan G didn't like the idea that I was also posting on Shades' board. They also suspected that I had exposed all of the Mod aliases to the posters on Shades' board. They went through my private messages (instead of talking to me), and found that I had been conversing with Who Knows. Even though there was still no evidence that I had said anything, they released me from my Mod duties. While I was in the middle of PM'ing Dan G in a last attempt to handle things amicably, he literally banned me from the MAD board and blocked my IP address mid-PM.

As an aside..I never did expose the FAIR/MAD Mods. Ironically, Juliann later exposed a good portion of them on the MAD board herself by posting portions of private discussions which occurred in a Moderator Only thread, in an attempt to further smear me.
