Incorrect. The Church pays for the operation of this site indirectly. Officially unofficially.
Care to explain that?
Also the same entity who pays FAIR expenses also pays for MAD
Elementary my dear Watson.
There are some pretty clear and obvious differences between MAD and FAIR, though. FAIR is an actual, real entity, with real people involved. We actually know who the personnel are (e.g., Scott Gordon, John Lynch, etc). We don't know for certain who the "powers that be" are behind MAD, though it seems clear that the Lynch/Gordon contingent have steered clear. Liz has postulated that the MADboard belongs to Dan_G, who may very well be the voice on that answering machine you called, Nomomo. Others have suggested that juliann owns some part of the board. As to the "entity who pays FAIR expenses," I always understood that FAIR was paid for by its own members, and not by the LDS Church. In fact, my sense is that FAIR abandoned the messageboard due to fears about ramifications it might have in terms of Church discipline. Probably, S. Gordon, J. Lynch, and the other Big Cheeses of FAIR knew that the messageboard is a real suck-hole and testimony killer, and so they wanted to get the hell away from it before one of the Brethren caught wind of what was going on.

I'm fairly certain that Dan G. and Allen Wyatt are financial backers for the MAD board. Juliann may or may not also have some type of financial hold. In any case, Juliann is a "creative partner" and holds Dan by a fairly short leash. ;)

Juliann was definitely a major financial backer of the original FAIR board, according to a good source who has to remain unnamed. This was what created the climate which allowed Juliann to act extremely rudely without consequence. Whether or not her backing has continued for MAD, I don't know, but it seems likely.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

I think that she once said openly on the board that she had helped bankroll the startup of MAD. Maybe about a year or so back?

Odd, I can name every owner of the so-called "Anti" Mormon boards.
Yet, the so-called "Defenders Of The Faith" hide just about everything. Monetary contributions, names, donations and more.
I think it is par for the course for the defenders.
Dishonest in Mormonism, why not dishonest in all else. All least they are being consistent.

So are you implying that the church pays Allen Wyatt, Scott Gordon, and/or John Lynch, who then use that same money to fund FAIR and MA&D?
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

I read this earlier in the day, Infymus, and you're exactly right. Even as an "outsider" who doesn't frequent alot of "anti" boards, I can name at least some of the site owners. My thought is that MAD isn't that transparent so no one can point a public blame finger at any one individual.

Elementary my dear Watson.
In other words, you have nothing to shows the church is involved, let alone pays, for the site at all.
Dang.
Who Paid for the site at fair? think about it
