Did you ever cheat and eat on fasting Sunday?

Had to. I'm hypoglycemic. LOL, did I spell that right? Anyways, I pass out when I don't eat regularly...or at least I used to. Now that my stomach doesn't really like food or water once a month or so, it's a bit different. But I do get weak quickly with no meal.

There wasn't a sunday that didn't go by where I didn't eat a piece of fruit or a couple of bread slices early in the morn. I wasn't falling out for anyone's religious views.

It was a bit easier when we had sacrament at 3pm, because then I could just sleep until church, and when I got home, it was dinnertime.

You're quite the amazing creature. Strange, but amazing...

Thank you....I think. I've finally started eating better (i.e. I eat breakfast and lunch even though I'm not hungry for it). My biggest problem is I would forget to eat all day, eat a lot, forget for a while, eat all day, rinse and repeat.

:-)

In late February I completely lost my apetite. That and what I did eat I wasn't able to hold down. I got really dehydrated one weekend, but I simply couldn't even keep water on my stomach. I've vowed that when I do eat now, it will be mainly healthy. I eat a lot of meat (my apologies to the vegans and vegetarians of the board, don't cringe!) for the protein, but I'm also trying to include more fruit, veggies, and grains. I like Kashi's Autumn Wheat cereal. I have a sweet tooth, and this satisfies it without filling me up with sugar.

It's hard though, because I can have moments when I just can't eat and then moments when I eat for two. I'm used to people grinning at me now when I tuck into a plate. I love prunes, too. Sunkist has these individually wrapped ones....yummy.

If I were LDS today, I don't really know what I'd do about the fasting issue. I have to eat when I have an apetite.

Then the way I see it, you could fast for two. Say, for both you and your wife. That way she can just eat on fast Sunday and not feel guilty. What a good husband you are.

You know, I just got to lookin' at the OP title real close and the first thought that came into my mind was: Fast Sunday or any other day, it would still be considered adultery, no?

How has your luck been for abstaining from masturbation? Have you passed the three day mark yet?

Perhaps Nehor's metabolism is the digestive version of BKP's "little factory"---the less he eats, the more it "slows down."
