Can someone explain why I was banned from MADB?

Hello Liz,

Here is what the Moderator named 'Orpheus' wrote about cross-posting from one board to another, back in January of 2007, on the MA&D Discussion Message Board:

You can comment as much as you want. This is a different board now. Cross-posting calls will by made on a case by case basis. But we would prefer that links are not put up or if it is a clean thread that a warning be posted along with it so people know they are entering a site that promotes vulgarity and obsenity. Nobody is expected to go to offensive message boards to defend themselves and posting here does seem to make our people a target. If they talk about you you can respond here as long as the bad content isn't brought over or linked to.

And, Here is the MA&D Message Board rule now about cross-posting from one board to another, on their 'Board Guidelines' Web Site Page there

- Do not start board wars or cross-posting (duplicate discussions from other boards on the MADB boards or vice versa in order to continue an argument). Links to other discussion boards will not be permitted in most cases.

I didn't cross-post "in order to continue an argument." Not sure where I erred.

This particular quote was made right after MAD split off from FAIR. Dan and Juliann wanted to make sure that everyone knew that since MAD was truly privately owned, and disassociated from FAIR, they could call their own shots. The board war between MAD and Shades' board was in full swing. I was under the impression that it had basically evolved into a "cold war".

It appears, however, that posters here can still be caught in the cross-fire.

You erred by cross-posting from here.

Actually, the fact that you post here at all puts you on shaky ground unless, as Brackite stated earlier, you are considered one of their "elite".

There are only two types of posters here: those who have been banned and those who will be banned.

lol! D&C 121:39. Very Apropos. Maybe Joseph Smith got a few things right, after all.

What everyone else said. Cross-posting, and yes, capriciousness.

They do monitor this board and don't appreciate references to it, in spite of the fact that the opposite is encouraged by our host here, Dr. Shades.

Actually, it was always one of my favorite scriptures, and I still think it's dead on! Of course, he probably lifted the idea from somewhere else, but he still gets credit for recognizing the wisdom.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.
