I thank thee O God for a message board

I appreciate the fact that I can be myself here. On other boards you have to fit a mold or face discipline of some sort. It feels good to be free.

Anyone else appreciative of the message board for one reason or another?

I am thankful. With my recent banning from MAD and the fact that I am not "allowed" to speak about certain issues with any of my ward members without facing potential discipline for "sewing seeds of doubt," I really have no one to talk to about these issues except my wife (who is awesome about it, by the way). It is amazing, if you think about it, though, that sharing ACTUAL HISTORY re the church and its founder can be considered worthy of discipline. Baffling, really.

It is nice to be able to discuss our beliefs or lack there of in a open and honest manner. Some other boards don't allow debate, and others, like MAD are so biased in their monitoring it makes honest debate impossible.

I would like to see more of the MAD heavyweights come over here for discussion. DCP would be interesting, but something tells me that hammer and julian wouldn't fair very well.
