You mean by bringing him dinner, mowing his lawn, and inviting him to the next ward campout?

(see, one doesn't need to read death threats into your comment).

Craig Jessop

Post by _RAJ »

I guess mum's still the word on Craig Jessop's abrupt resignation from the MoTab.

The new choir director, Mack Wilberg has very little to say about him, except that they are in close contact.

"He replaces Craig Jessop, who resigned earlier this month.
Wilberg said he plans to follow Jessop's direction with the choir.
'Craig's legacy will continue,' he said. 'Our personalities are different but our styles are similar.'
Jessop has granted no interviews since resigning, and sent an e-mail to reporters requesting that he not be contacted.
But Wilberg, who said he and Jessop were best friends who always knew what the other was thinking, added he is in constant contact with the former director.
"He's doing great," Wilberg said Friday."

That sounds like he's been asked to keep quiet. If he's keeping quiet for his own sake, or his families, I wish him continued respectful privacy. I would still bet something will eventually surface. I notice there's no comments on that SL Trib article so far. The "our personalities are different" comment above sounds like a disclaimer.

Craig Jessop has apparently landed on his feet and will now be heading Utah State University's music department.

Hmmm... another hint of his lesser devotion to the cult? None of his kids attended the standard Mormon school...

Good for them. A little thinking outside the box is healthy. I'm glad he found a good position in his chosen field. I'm just really curious as to why he left.
