Exterminated is harsh. Public shaming and abuse maybe.
Step 1: convince a child that you are the authority on all matters
step 2: give impossible goals of personal behavior
Step 3: Enforce said rules via jackbooted institutionalized shunning and group separation techniques.
Don't let them convince you that they are the authority of you and one can walk away from the abuse of Mormonism.

And crawling on the planet's face
Some insects called the human race
Lost in time
And lost in space...and meaning

just twenty five years of believing I was not a good person because I didn't live the standard - a standard that Joseph Smith never lived. Twenty five years of paranoia, depression ,anxiety and now finally anger.

I see that you CHOOSE disfunctional emotional reactions to that life challenge. The good news is, you can, even now, make a functional CHOISE. ;-)
Thanks, -Wade Englund-

Don't quit your day job, if you have one currently, Wade.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.
