Would someone please ask Kimberlyann to explain, in her current Methodist belief, how Christ obtain the Y chromosome that made him male--particularly in light of the Biblical declaration that Christ is begotten of God (Jn 1:14; 3:18,16; Acts 13:33; Heb 1:5; 5:5) as typified by Abraham and Isaac (Heb 11:17)?

Kimberly Ann believes in God? I am honestly a little shocked.

one moment, of the well of life to taste-
The stars are setting and the caravan
starts for the dawn of nothing; Oh, make haste!

It's a miracle, Wade. In Methodist belief, God's allowed to do those.

I think Wade is just using the label "Methodist" to lampoon the godless people who are defending the orthodox God-concept in this thread.
That would make more sense. I wasn't aware KA had any belief in deity.

I do believe KimberlyAnn does actually attend a Methodist congregation each week. I would presume that means she has some belief in God. Of course, I'm sure she'll correct any misperceptions should she check back in on this thread.
But what an odd thing for you to have said originally.

Me and not a few other LDS view mortal conception and birth in the same way (as a "miracle), as well as Christ's conception. And, we LDS grant that God does these miracles as well.
It is just that since KA seems intent on delving deeper into the perception of certain LDS (not to be confused with "the Church") regarding the nature of the miracle of Christ's conception (i.e. the specific mechanics of how the miracle occured), I thought it only appropriate to press her on her own Methodist beliefs regarding the same (not to be confused with "lampooning the godless people").

Given her nearly exlusive anti-LDS attitudes and behaviors manifest on this board, it makes sense that you would not be aware of such beliefs. However, she does claim to attend the Methodist Church, and so at the very least she pays at least some homage to belief in God.

Yes, LDS insist that there is some logical explanation for how Jesus got a Y chromosome (a.k.a., SEX) and yet don't blink an eye at the idea of two immortal, perfected human beings of FLESH AND BONES reproducing and ending up with a "spirit child".
by the way, too bad Will's not around to see Trinity's photo of God's penis. Perhaps he'd like to change his avatar to it. :O

Genesis 1:26
26 ¶ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
So God (meaning the head of the Gods), said to the others, let us go down and make man in our image. And what image was that?........
Genesis 1:27
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
So the Gods (plural) created man in their own image. Male and female.
Also you might care to remember that Christ was resurrected so that we could all be resurrected. (Romans 6:3-6) We have bodies in the life to come. This is something plainly taught time and again throughout the New Testament.
