Wade's fear

Post by _Dr. Shades »

The Center for the Study of Same-Sex Attraction Disorders has shown us that Wade fears homosexuality, since (as the Center has aptly proven) it is akin to necrophilia, bestiality, peophilia, etc.

The question, though, is how rational is this fear in terms of your average homosexual? Perhaps Wade can tell us what, specifically, he has to fear from a homosexual person who does not proselytize his/her lifestyle or otherwise break the law?
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

I'm assuming that you are just trying to be funny, and so I won't bother pointing out the innanity--that is, unless you say otherwise, and will be pleased to have a laugh somewhat at my expense (I say "somwhat" because the innanity tends to turn the joke back on the jokestur).

In that case, please point this out to me: How is the inanity of my post any less than the inanity of your posts about beastie and Mister Scratch?

Since I have yet to see anything inane in those referenced posts (though I am open to having such reasonably demonstrated if possible), I can only speak to what I viewed as inane about your post. It entailed the following "logic":

a) If a person categories things, then that person fears the things they categorize.
b) Wade categorized homosexuals and pediphiles and necromancers, etc. as each having sexual attraction disorders.
c) Therefore, since Wade categorized homosexuals as having sexual attraction disorders, therefore Wade fears homosexuals

To see the evident inanity of your argument, one need but plug in other variables. So, according to your "logic":

a) If a person categories things, then that person fears the things they categorize.
b) Boat makers categorized boats with sails as sailboats and boats with motors as motor boats,
c) Therefore, boat makers fear sail and motor boats.

a) If a person categories things, then that person fears the things they categorize.
b) Ben and Gerry categorized some of their ice cream as "top ten flavors".
c) Therefore, Ben and Jerry fear the top ten flavors of ice cream.

Do I need to go on? ;-)

A necromancer and a necrophiliac are two very, very different things, Wade.

Although Wade could be both, not just a necrophiliac. After all, he may like to raise the dead and ask for his fortune before he gets his jollies.
