What?

After Adam was cast out of the Garden, three angels came to him (sent by the Father) to teach Adam how he could repent and return to the Fathers presence. Adam was taught to look forward to the time of Christ (the same way we look back on it) and understand the plan of salvation and the purpose of life.

Any other religion that sprang up was the result of disgruntled children who hated the plan. Much like the ones you see on this board.

Lets take the famous story of Cain and Abel as an example. Cain is a disgruntled exmo. He is cast out from the family of Adam and takes his personal family and others off with him to his own valley or whatever.

His kids grow up in 30 years or so and have an innate desire to worship God. Maybe they picked up on a few things growing up listenign to parents and others about who God is, and they see it through that stained glass. So when they start up a belief system, its distorted and changed from the truth.

example: How many christian churches are there?

How many christian churches were there when Constantine brought them all together to form the Catholic Church in 400 AD? How many were banished and/or executed when they didn't agree with the catholic take on Christ?

See how fast it occurs?

Not sure on the time table, but from what I understand he was told to instruct his wife and children as to what they had taught him. I woud say no more than 40 years from the time they were expelled from the garden. Probably much sooner.
