Thanks, I didn't read that prior. I find his comments there not in the least bit worthy of a protest response.

Yes, you spoke up for me and I really appreciated it. You, Beastie and Liz were the only ones...

I guess my point wasn't that I'm better than other guys (I'm not), but that different circumstances make it easier to speak up. I don't thnk antishock has much respect for me, but I still think he can be reasoned with. There are others who have misogynistic rants which I think cannot be reasoned with.

Are we talking about the time where she called me a twit (or some such insult), and I responded with the c-word in order to show her how it feels to be insulted? I think I already conceded I went too far. Regardless, if someone wants to wrassle with the swine, like our new friend "Coach T", then he or she shouldn't surprised when the mud starts flying.

Hey Moniker,

Did you happen to notice antichock's signiture line?

Where do you suppose he got that from? ;-)

No, I hadn't noticed that. Do you have a point? Is it him or me?

Is me mentioning Hooters, the Republican Party, Cracker Barrel, etc... in relation to being a gossip or talking about organizations (if they appeal to us or not) supposed to be equated to me being sexually inviting? If so, please, someone shoot me now.

I don't assume he even thought of that line from me, though..... And I certainly don't believe it really has anything to do with me. Should I think that?

Not to get too far off on a tangent, but isn't there a difference between showing a lack of respect for a particular faith and disrespect towards a person?

If someone attacks a faith which has previously played a large role in their lives, does that mean that are now fair game for condescending, misogynistic treatment?

Of course, a lot of the attacks on a faith can turn into personal attacks and disrespect, but surely there is a distinction between the two and the former doesn't necessarily entail the latter.

I'm assuming that your point is that the sig line originated with Moniker. Could you explain, what does this have to do with the examples of degrading comments that have been linked to?

Why are you asking me this?

Why are you asking me what you should think?
