I can't. They're auto-censored. :-)

That word, for me, has been out of use as a legitimate descriptor for so long, I never consider using it to accurately describe someone who is mentally or developmentally disabled.

In that case, since you don't use the word yourself, you won't object to it being censored.

But back to silentkid's question, all joking aside, here's the answer to your question. The following words are auto-censored or auto-replaced:
  • The "F" word and its variant that ends with "-ing."
  • The "S" word and its many variants, such as "bull-," etc.
  • The "C" word which refers to a portion of the female anatomy.
  • Now the "R" words which refer to developmental disabilities (since they're generally only used as perjoratives around here).
  • Many, many other words which aren't on anyone's radar and which nobody ever notices, such as correcting a lower-case "I" to uppercase when used as a word, inserting an apostrophe into contractions such as "won't" and "aren't," correcting the ubiquitous misspellings of the word "ridiculous," correcting Utah-isms such as dropping the letter "t" from the end of the word "across," and spelling out the entire word "probably."
NOTE: THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION TO TEST THE WORD CENSOR. DO NOT START EXPERIMENTING WITH VARIOUS SWEAR WORDS AND MISSPELLINGS TO SEE WHAT GETS THROUGH AND WHAT DOESN'T. In short, do NOT do what Bond...James Bond did just above this post.

Oh, but you're wrong.

I'm not going to raise a stink about it, though.

I'll leave that to someone else this time.

That's all I ask.

Thanks for your work shades. I need to buy you a beer sometime. That goes for all of the mods, too.

My deepest thanks to Dr. Shades and the other mods for their care and concern and kindness.

And, to those who are unhappy about it, thanks for going along with it even though you would rather not. :-)

Liz stated how I feel about this issue. Most folks just naturally are respectful and considerate. It is too bad the mods even had to address the issue.

Anyway... my heartfelt thank you to all those who understand. :-)

Ditto to Truth Dancer.

Thanks, Shades and mods.

Although I would still prefer the threads just be moved to the telestial kingdom, I am grateful for this compromise, and will no longer deliberately force threads to be moved to the telestial kingdom by posting temple content or a gazillion F words.

Oh, I haven't read this thread yet but I see that Shades has posted. Is he mad at me for starting this thread? I'll have to read and find out! If you are irritated with me Shades, I assure you that I will inflict enormous pain on myself and suffer greatly for most of enternity. Maybe a week even.
