Getting tired of tal

Post by _Mercury »

Made ya look!

Tal, are you trying to fit into the niche of "i hate religion and what it does to people" crowd but still want to look fresh and edgy by dissing dawkins?

Did your manager tell you to follow that public image or are you just looking for your niche?

Oh also, side topic I know but whats your opinion on giving away your music and making money off of concerts and merchandise? Digital music is here to stay and DRM sucks. What is an artist to do when they do not have t be beholden to the mass marketed music industry and the mandates of the RIAA?

I have a feeling Tal isn't worried about people pirating his tunes. People must show some level of interest in them before they will waste a blank disc on them. Go into any used record store. You can pick up his ST in the dollar bin. Or try Amazon.

216 used & new available from $0.01

http://www.amazon.com/Tal-Bachman/dp/B00000IIXN

I don't foresee anymore Billboard hits for our friend Tal.
One moment in annihilation's waste,
one moment, of the well of life to taste-
The stars are setting and the caravan
starts for the dawn of nothing; Oh, make haste!

For the record Tal is a multi-talented musician, undeserving of your condescension. He plays more than one instrument well, writes, sings, his main hit song is still being played frequently on the radio. You guys are the ones who seem petty minded and juvenile.

Ya know, I don't have a problem with ad-hominems at all, especially the replies Tal's posts
elicit. But you, LOP, (if you're the same guy posting on MADd board) should know better
that Cyberspace is populated by all kinds of people, (from cowards to curageous, some in between).
Your clone's posts on MAD reflect a different attitude. You come here to play, mock, denigrate, despise.
Which I don't have a problem, thankfully moderators are wise enough to play laissez fair role.

by the way; thanks for the Amazon link, I'll go grab some of his dirtcheap CD's.

I kind of liked the "She's so high" song. It was cool. I admire anyone's talent that takes them to the level of a nationally recognized hit. It's a good thing, and something to appreciate. I wish I could play just one instrument at half the ability I'm sure he possesses, but alas, it's Guitar Hero for me...

I agree with antishock. Very few people have a hit song. It takes hard work and dedication along with a lot of luck to make that happen. I think Merc is just jealous. Kinda like the dogs that bark at a car speeding on the highway.

Merc,

I get the impression that if Tal were only an average joe with an opinion he wouldn't be such a pinata to you.

I guess his many talents justify his frequent condescension on the topic of religion?

He plays more than one instrument well, writes, sings, his main hit song is still being played frequently on the radio.

Yet another good reason why corporate radio sucks.

You guys are the ones who seem petty minded and juvenile.

Something Talibachman (© 2008 Will Schryver) would never be.

They are clone posts, but not the same?
