I've seen that posted before on MAD. Was that you? Why not do a lil prose to go along with your cartoon? Is this really occurring?
The only rabid anti-evolutionist on this site is the one being rude and calling others ignorant. If I for one moment thought that Coggins was actually attempting to understand the theory (rather than running to websites which is his modus operandi to do his thinking for him) I would give him a bit of slack.
I think you misunderstand. (Take off the anti-Loap glasses ;)) I think the chick tract is humorous. I get a kick out of it. Look at the picture on the wall behind the professor "Our Father." Check out the hilarious caricature of the "mindless students" who very happily and enthusiastically believe in evolution. See how the very joyful professor turns from sweet to amazingly irate; he has a total meltdown over the one student who disbelieves in evolution. I really like the art, I really like the caricature.

I don't have on anti-LoP glasses. Promise! :)
Jack Chick is a fundamentalist protestant who thinks his mission is to convert the rest of humanity to his religious fervent world view. Jack Chick uses his art to lampoon what he considers the ridiculous nature of the theory of evolution. I already noticed the details you pointed out to me. I think there are many that believe what is being portrayed in the cartoon is what actually is occurring.
Some of the most fun I've ever had was going to an Athiest board and refuting everything that was said with a Jack Chick comic while endlessly pointing out what a brilliant man he was. I should do that again some time. It's a lot of fun.

Thanks for the vote of confidence.

I made a goal to read every online Chick tract available. It took several hours and it messed with my brain.

Yup. I periodically post individual frames from it, as well. I especially enjoy this part:

I like the part where the little girl quotes from the Journal of Discourses. I couldn't stop laughing the first time I saw that.

It actually scares me. Seriously.
I go back and forth on it. I wonder if Chick is serious sometimes, it's hard to discern from the comics. Sometimes they are just so far out there as far as God delighting in burning people in hell, and Halloween leading to a 10 year old girl becoming an actual witch, stuff like that, makes me wonder. I guess I would need to meet him in person and see what he's like.
