The more I read on this thread the less I understand.
- Whenever a poet or preacher, chief or wizard spouts gibberish, the human race spends centuries deciphering the message. - Umberto Eco
- To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin. - Cardinal Bellarmine at the trial of Galilei

I didn't know that the topic of this thread was bolo ties and such.
Though I haven't worn it in years, I have the most beautiful sterling silver bolo tie that is a three dimensional rose. I might consider wearing it if I go out line dancing at the local cowboy club.
Is there something wrong with that?
I also wear overalls from time to time, so whoever is mocking overalls can just get over it.

I also want to add this incase people are mocking western wear. At the cowboy club I go to occasionally, some women dress in jeans, capris, long skirts and the guys usually wear Stetson's and cowboy boots with their jeans and shirts. There are couples who dress in fully Western wear such as that for square dancers and I tell you they are striking in appearance and graceful when they dance.
Please do not mock western wear where this yankee can see it.

You go line dancing at a local cowboy club? SAY IT AIN'T SO!
Is there something wrong with that?
Put it this way--can you picture Bill Gates or Donald Trump in a cowboy club?

AT THE SAME TIME?? Oh. My. God.
. . . and the guys usually wear Stetson's and cowboy boots with their jeans and shirts.
At a cowboy club?? Wow, what a surprise. I'm about to have a heart attack from the utter shock of that surprise.

Request denied.
