I don't think it'll be a problem. I could be wrong, but I think DNA testing could even tell who the father is among identical twin candidates.
Hmmm. I'm not a DNA expert. I thought identical twins had exactly the same DNA. It just seems to me that if the father is also the uncle who is also the cousin, all the DNA would look alike.

I'm no DNA expert either, but since 2 of my bros are identical twins, I do know that there are physcial differences between them. I'm not sure what the cause of that is, but I had thought that in any case there were some small differences in their DNA--just not very many.

We are talking RAPE of thirty-one girls in the FLDS community in Texas.
In addition, while there are 53 girls, there are only 15 boys between the ages of 14-17. Where are the boys? (The numbers were equal until age 14). Are the men transporting girls into the community for their services? Are boys being cast out?
I'm sick. And, I'm tired of people who excuse the men who raped girls. Whether Joseph Smith, BY, and their cohorts, or Warren Jeffs and his buddies, it is sickening.
There are no excuses.

This is reprehensible. What doctrine can they posibly even misconstrue to justify this? This goes against every doctrine in Christs gospel. There is nothing more important than ones owm family. They carry your name and your blood, and will stand as witnesses of your life on the day of judgement.
The men that impregnated these girls, and ostracised their own innocent children, should be drug into the street in front of their compound and shot execution style.
Lost Boys of Polygamy are young men who have been excommunicated or pressured to leave polygamous groups such as the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (FLDS). Most of the Lost Boys are between the ages of 13 and 21 when banished or pressured to leave.
Critics of the FLDS say that, given the fact that roughly equal numbers of boys and girls are born in any community absent sex-selective abortion, the practice of polygamy leads unavoidably to bride shortages and a surplus of boys. In particular, FLDS men are each required to marry at least three wives, which is demographically unsustainable. Lost Boys are the surplus boys who are removed from polygamous sects in order to reduce competition for wives. While some boys leave on their own, many are ostensibly banished for misbehavior such as watching a movie, watching television, playing football, or talking to a girl. Some boys are told not to return unless they can return with a wife. There are also young women who have left or been pressured to leave because they did not want to be part of polygamous marriages. Warren Jeffs’ own niece, Naomi, escaped from the sect at age 13. While it is difficult to estimate how many boys have been thrown out, their numbers are estimated to be as low as 400 and as high as 1,400.
One of the main difficulties that Lost Boys face is that they are raised not to trust the outside world. In fact, leaving their communities is considered a sin worse than murder. These boys are usually left with little education or life skills and must learn to live in a world about which they know little, while dealing with the deep psychological pain of being shunned by their families and believing they are beyond spiritual redemption. The families of banished boys are told that the boys are now dead to them.
This is reprehensible. What doctrine can they posibly even misconstrue to justify this? This goes against every doctrine in Christs gospel. There is nothing more important than ones owm family. They carry your name and your blood, and will stand as witnesses of your life on the day of judgement.

I would say we kill the sonofabitch who spawned the lifestyle but he died like a coward, flailing and mentioning the widows son.
Your martyred prophet started it, so the next time I suggest it was a good thing joe was deservingly executed I expect not a peep from you.
I'm serious Gaz.

Its really reaching to compare Joseph Smith with Warren Jeffs. Really really reaching.
The only thing they have in common is a love of the Book of Mormon. Did Joseph Smith keep the members of the Church uneducated? Did he keep them locked into their community? Did he brainwash people?

This would be uproariously funny if it were not so pathetic. What are you smoking, guy? Whatever it is, it allows you to ignore a whole litany of pertinent facts.
1) They have polygamy in common.
2) They have marrying little girls in common.
3) They both claimed the prophetic office and leadership of God's true church.
4) They both claimed to hold the Holy Priesthood.
And we could go on and on, including the charge that Joseph brainwashed people. That is certainly within the realm of probability if not likelihood.
Sheesh! Apples and oranges!?!? Are you insane?

A brief study of the two mens lives is all it takes to show the vast differences. If in no other way, than to just look at the application of the doctrine.
Joseph elevated everyone around him, he doled out responsibilities and activly sought to educate and strengthen everyone in the community around him.
Warren Jeffs did the opposite.
