Tsk Tsk Coggins. Aren't you inactive? He who is without cast the fist stone you know....

Galatians 5:22-23.

Depends upon what you mean by inactive, and the reasons for it.

Now, back to the cafeteria Jason (and that's one problem I most certainly do not have...").

Oh, and a CFR reference, whatever that means. I'm not up on that acronym yet, but I'll do some homework.

Call For Reference.

BC Space is quick to demand them and slow to provide them.

Yet another classic example that William Buckley was correct. That which is not on the Right, moves inevitably to the Left. In like manner, that, spiritually, which eats in a cafeteria, is on its way to the soup line. There is no middle ground and no inertia.

But it's really only funny if you know about Parley Pratt. :)

I love it!

You know, they tried to dig up Pratt recently, but couldn't find his body. I guess it was one of those slippery treasures that just kept evading it's seekers. Perhaps if the searching party had worn all black, ridden in black cars and done the hokey-pokey they would have found him.

Or, maybe they ceased looking because a toad-like creature warned them to stop?

Ah, yeah. MIA. Mormon in Ascension. (Jargon for resurrection if they can't find the remains of the faithful LDS when they go to dig them up)

Parley's up there making earths and spirit babies.

Thanks for the warm welcome. You're in Oklahoma, not far from my original stomping grounds in Arkansas. Elder Bednar was my stake president for some time there in Arkansas way back in the day.

Oooooooooooklahoma, where the exmos gyrate on the plains
Where the cupcakes stay
On a silver tray
And the earrings dangle on their chains...

That's pretty funny. Here's my version:

Oooooooooooklahoma, where apostles run into the law;
But to jail they'll go,
For stealin' children's clothes,
And be buried out in Arkansas...

Yes, yes, I know all about the many trumped up charges, kangaroo courts, and slander leading to legal action the Saints and leaders of the Church endured.

Go ahead, dredge up some of the more discredited tabloid hysteria from the nineteenth century and let's see where it leads us...

Kimberlyann, have you taken to spiking your cupcakes lately? The "slippery treasures" are your earrings, your tattoos, your Xbox, and your Beemer, not the bones of dead Apostles.

And, Kimberlyann, are you not aware that the Salamander Letter was a forgery?

Hello?

You're no lover of truth tumult, and you've already demonstrated that here and in other posts. You've just accused some 90% of those who serve in the Church and officiate in its sacred ordinances of being guilty of serious moral transgression, a baseless charge for which you have no evidence. That lack of evidence is indicative that what you are really engaged in here is projection, not considered analysis.

no this is based on my small sample of the priests I hung out with - the ones that had girlfriends - everyone but me - I later learned should not have been blessing the sacrament.

Not here, that's for sure. I liked Parley for most of my teen years. I thought he was a good poet.

Explain away dude.

Hmmm

Well as noted elsewhere all through my Cafeteriaism I have stayed true and faithful and served in substantive callings. Maybe you do not pick and choose what you believe but apparently you pick and choose what you practice. So don't point your little narrow mind and fingers at judging me dude. It rings hollow.

Blah blah blah. There is no middle ground in activity and service. Keep your judgment to yourself.
