Can you control others if they can't control themselves?

If you know what causes them to lose control, yes.

Can an organization control you if you have no self-control?

Yes, as per the above.

If you wish to control someone else, is it most effective to make that person belive he / she is exercising self-control?

I would agree that the best method of control does not allow the one being controlled to know it.

Of course, now paranoia sets in.....

Yes, you can control others if they can't control themselves. That's one of the easier things to do. Because you can use their inability to control themselves against them.

Exactly. Self control takes will, and if you have no will or only partial will, you become easy pickings.

Of course, it's more complex than that... there are different types of power that some people are more susceptible to than others. In certain areas, a person might have control and others not so much, and people are vulnerable to the influence certain people and organizations and not others. Think of the CEO of a major corporation pulling the levers in the background, making huge decisions that affect hundreds of lives, who becomes a wet noodle the moment he sees his wife, for instance.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
