First, let me make sure I understand what you are saying...
Nibley is looking at a paper that Joseph Smith wrote where he copied the characters from the papyrus. He claims that the same symbol has 3 different meanings.
You, however, are saying that there are 2 separate characters.
So, are you saying that Joseph Smith got it wrong in the copying of the characters from the papyrus? Did Joseph Smith assume those characters were the same, but recent egyptologists have now found that they are different?
If it was Nibley that made the mistake, how do you know the characters are different? They look very similar to me.
