This Month's New Era

Check out this month's New Era. One of my sons and my front porch are on the cover. (No big deal there, just selected by the photographer as models).

Would you let your kids pose for Nazi propaganda if you lived in Germany 60 years ago? I think you would.

Well, you never know. But I find solace and peace in my faith in Jesus Christ, as His doctrines are taught by the priesthood of the Everlasting One. So, I don't have a problem with activity and faith in the Church.

Cool. I'll take a look at it when it arrives.

I'm curious why they'd go all the way down to San Diego rather than just take a shot of a home in in SLC?

How does it feel to be famous?
God . . . "who mouths morals to other people and has none himself; who frowns upon crimes, yet commits them all; who created man without invitation, . . . and finally, with altogether divine obtuseness, invites this poor, abused slave to worship him ..."

The church relies upon a stable of photographers. One happens to live in our stake. He selects the models. My very reluctant daughter was a model on an inside piece several years ago. She didn't want to be seen sitting at a campfire in a camp shirt.

I think he might because there'd be thugs like you with guns telling him he had to.

Has there been African-American's on the front cover of the New Era. Could be?... Maybe many times. I don't know.
