Well, obviously, this is not meant to be taken literally. It refers to any manufacturer of dairy products.

But, it's not your problem, really.

Consider:

Seems more like the opinions of certain apologists or antiMormons than "Mormonism" which makes the list a strawman. For example, where does "Mormonism" state that the JST excerpts are not used?

As a Mormon, I wasn't taught that all other religions were ridiculous, I was taught that they were all set up by the devil to ensnare and confuse mankind. Priests, popes and pastors were all in the employee of Satan.

The temple ceremony, prior to the 1990 changes, included a line by I think it was Adam that the creeds of traditional Christianity were an incomprehensible mass of confusion. (that's not a quote, it's a paraphrase) Also, the recitation by the preacher in the film of the creeds themselves was, I think, designed to remind LDS how ridiculous they really were. Gordon B. Hinckley seemed to want to change the tenor of the conversation between the LDS and the world and said things like "bring what you have and we'll add a little more", but when I was endowed the message seemed to be "don't believe their stupid creeds, believe our Truth instead".

Of course, in retrospect, it was one of the more egregious instances of the pot calling the kettle black that I've ever seen in my life. ;-)

Well, selected excerpts appear as footnotes in BoM--are they considered doctrinal? The only other place I come across JST references is typically in Consiglieri's posts on MADB. 'Course I don't go looking for them, either.

How is JST used? I'd be happy to drop it from the list.
