Post by _ludwigm »

Last summer we have made a trip to Seiffen (Germany) Image which is a beautiful toy-village known as home of wood-carvers.
- - Hi Gramps !!

This is one of their products :

I have bumped up this article in the Issue 140 of the Sunstone, in the 2005 december one :

Image
- Whenever a poet or preacher, chief or wizard spouts gibberish, the human race spends centuries deciphering the message. - Umberto Eco
- To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin. - Cardinal Bellarmine at the trial of Galilei

Gotta love how the ad includes "this has been seen by Gordon B. Hinckley".

So, someone shelled out for this stupid Joseph Smith nutcracker, and showed it to Gordon B. Hinckley, and he politely smiled and shook hands with the owner and then turned to the next person to smile and shake hands with them, etc. And now this nutcracker "has been seen" by the Prophet. What a ringing endorsement by The Man. ROFL. ;-)
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

Here is the URL to the current LDS selection available at the Olympus Clock Shop in SLC:

Unfortunately they seem to be clear out of Joseph Smith and Mishies at the moment. But Brigham Young is still available at $199.95 - and he cracked the nuts of a lot of men in his time ...

Rediculous.

The primary purpose of a nutcracker is to crack nuts.

What a stupid collectable

"I collect dolls that crack nuts"

Even Tchaicovski must be decomposing over this.

He got the Joseph Smith nutcracker wrong. The golden plates should've been invisible.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

No rock. No hat. That's how you spot a fake.
