Yes, I have something to hide by writing anonymously. I am trying to protect my family, and home from the nut jobs that exist online. Maybe someone doesn't like my comments on sexuality and wishes to take it out on me. Maybe someone was offended by something I said and that someone wishes to get revenge by harming my family. I'm not willing to take the chance. For those who know me personally, they either know who I am online or they could easily figure it out. It is the online nutjobs I don't know who I fear.
That's General Leo. He could be my friend if he weren't my enemy.

I can argue why it doesn't have to do so.
I do not believe anyone has even suggested let alone stated that the church doesn't have to do so.
I don't think anyone is going to debate this.
The question is, is the church purposely NOT disclosing information.

You beat me to making a post very similar to this. Good job!
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

Then, my position is that you shouldn't be posting at all. Rapists try to protect themselves from retributive justice by doing their deeds in the dark, with a mask or anonymously. Libelers protect themselves from angry injured parties by saying wrong things on boards like this.
If you can't stand behind the things you say, and you have to hide behind a telephone pole or a building to use a bullhorn to say things that might hurt, might attack, or might even disparage a religious belief (anonymously throwing turds on the roof of the synagogue because you don't like the Jewish faith), then you are a weak and immoral coward. God knows who you are. And, if there is a God in heaven, I believe that someday you'll be made to pay -- the grief of your parents, wife, children and descendants.

For professional and ethical reasons I cannot answer that particular question, given some of my clients I represent. I can argue why it doesn't have to do so.
Yesterday, when you composed the reply to Solomarineris indicating that would like to see the Mormon church disclose it's financial information, did you do it knowing it was a breach of ethics? Or did you only realize that afterward and then edit your reply?

The latter, and if is still out there I take it back. It is not so much as "breaching" ethics as to be conservative as to not say something one of my First Amendment clients may take issue with some day.

Are you SERIOUSLY comparing us posting on a mostly insignificant message board to a rapist????
