And exactly how is Satan rewarding you? Can I have some too?

I know that when I'm feeling less tolerant or impatient (a fleeting condition), I react to people of a religious/indoctrinated mind in a similar way. I can completely relate to your rant.

But when I'm feeling more at peace with things (another fleeting condition), I understand and respect the complexity of the human mind, and take it for granted that while a person can be brilliant in one area, they can also be a complete idiot when it comes to another. The problem with your rant (if the opinions expressed in it are continually indicative of your overall generalized view of religious people) is that it demonstrates a bit of the very thing you're criticizing, which is people not doing enough thinking about certain things.

And believe me, I know that when I'm feeling impatient, global thinking is not one of my strong suits.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

I sometimes wish everyone would shut up. I'd rather talk to my dog than most humans I know.

My chihuahua Molly was a very good listener. She used to keep me company too, skipping school with me and watching Jerry Springer (oh, my shame).

Schmo, your post is very well-put. Though I feel facetious, perhaps it's that GoodK has gone through something personal, that has hurt them? I dunno. Only two things make me rant, people who don't know me speaking as if they do, and relatives.

Having family who are of an extremely different religious mindset than you can be difficult (like I have to say that on here). My grandma has her own version of the one true church, which she keeps trying to re-convert me to whenever I accompany her on church-related trips. I'm just trying to be the good granddaughter, and she's pushing me before the prophet. Aggravating, to say the least.

Hopefully whatever has bothered GoodK will pass soon.

Here is what is going on - we have the insane, right to life, Bible
thumping nutjobs that are trying to high jack the goverment. On
the other side we have the leftist, ACLU idiot do-gooders trying to get the cross
taken out of the Los Angeles City Crest. This is what happens, these ACLU homos have to come out and demand the ten commandments tablets taken out of the court house.

Then Ted Nugent and his buddies come back and fire off with "we want birth control taken out of the Rite Aid!"

And all the sane people are just stuck in the middle.

Could we have the ACLU'Relief Society and the right to lifers just go at it in Cuba so sane, moderate, logical, thinking people could just live. I don't want to spend 10 million bucks to have the cross taken off the bell tower off the LA city crest, nobody cares about that. But pharmacists are refusing to dispense birth control.

These religious idiots don't care about abortion. They don't care about life.
They don't like that people are having free sex and not paying the fiddler.

That is what the right to lifers have always been about. You idiots are all about telling people what to do and not letting people get laid.

Please. You are driving me insanse. I can't take anymore talk.
Please let the sane people in the middle just get along.

I feel like I moved into a condo in the middle of the Hatfield and Mccoys. The Hatfields, the religious, Bible thumping nutjobs and the Mccoys, the ACLU, leftist homos. And I'm stuck in the middle.

Just shut up. ACLUers, you go yell at your dad. That is who you are really
mad at. Stop harrassing people, and go yell at your dad.

Right wing idiots, go f up your kids.

By the way, shouldn't you all be headed up to the mountain? Rapture is coming.
It's coming. Any second now. Believe me, it's coming in your lifetime. Just like your dad, and his dad, and his dad thought.

In your life time. In your life time. In your lifetime. Quit your job. Grab a lawn chair. Don't even grab a coat.

I'm just tired of having to have respect for all these people. I'm tired of all the talk.
It's a fairy tale. I just want them to shut up about their fairy tales, and I want the ACLU
idiots to shut up, so the sane people can have their country back.

Can I be someone other than "shut up"? I've been "shut up" all my life!!

Sorry, just a little sensitive to all this "shut up" business, but I do relate to a lot of Badk's rant.
I think it would be morally right to lie about your religion to edit the article favorably.

When I say shut up I mean keep your stupid fairy tales to yourself and stop
spreading your filth on the rest of us...
