There are limits to how much you can unblur a photo depending on factors such as noise and knowledge about how the photo was blurred. While it's possible to unblur a swirled photo of a child predator, it is not possible to magically unblur a liscence plate except under special circumstances (it depends on things like the noise factors, compression used, numbers of photos, etc.). Oh, and not every piece of malicious software is a virus. Let's not forget about trojan horses, worms, and rootkits not to mention cross-site scripting.
I agree that this is the number 1 technology abuse in Movies and TV Shows. If such a think existed, we could all have 1 mega pixel cameras and you could blown them up to billboard size and have ultra sharp pictures.
Yes, I love this one. The cops find some crappy surveillance camera photo, give it to their computer whiz, and tell him to zoom in on the guys face, which is just a tiny yellowish blur, and with a few mouse clicks they have a super high res, extreme close-up shot of their suspect's face. I want that software for my computer.

To be honest, that was irresponsible if you're concerned about content. If you're considering taking kids that young to a PG-13 movie, you should pre-screen it first, instead of taking them to it sight-unseen and then complaining about it. Just sayin'.
Having been the perfect age to appreciate the original Transformers, I couldent imagine the new movie being in any way offensive. the most shocking thing to ever happen in the old cartoon was the Movie that came to theaters in '86 where many of the main characters I watched every day at 4:00 were killed of in an attack:

He took out a sucker and popped it in his mouth and then took it out and called up a 16-year old priest to the stand. He put the sucker back in his mouth and when the kid came up pulled it back out of his mouth and said "Here is a delicious sucker that I want you to have". Of course the kid was suppose to be disgusted by the sucker since it has already been licked but the kid grabbed it without a second thought and popped it into his mouth and started sucking on it. Everybody laughed and the SP stood there speechless for a few seconds. He then said that in all his years of doing this object lesson, this was the first time that somebody put the sucker in their mouth. It was funny as hell and took a lot of steam out of what he was trying to convey.
That is a great story. The kid should have said "I'm sorry, I thought your talk was on obedience".
LOL, I watched a 12 a few weeks ago, and I was SHOCKED. I saw a mans phallus several times. SHOCKING and I leaned some things about sex I didn't know. SHOCKING. And 12 year olds are expected to know this stuff, I choked on my popcorn.

Don't keep us in suspense. What did you learn about sex that you didn't know?
