There is only one way I like liver.
Take a carton of half n half, a dash of tabasco, some paprika, some pepper and salt, and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning. Marinate the liver in this solution for most of a day. When it is time to cook get a small pine block for each piece of liver. Usually something about 3 inches wide and 6 or 7 inches long works fine. Put a slice of liver on each pine block. Place them on the top rack of the oven and turn the oven on broil. Watch very closely and when the liver is sizzling very well then take them out and turn them over and broil the other side until sizzling very well and the liver is cooked very well on both sides.
To serve the liver take the liver and pine blocks to the table and scrape the liver off the pine blocks and then eat the pine blocks.
