I was reading about Martin Luther my browser crashed. He was a theologian. Gosh, I feel like such a tard. Why don't I know these things?
Pirate, there's a good movie about Martin Luther that came out a couple of years ago that might help you.
You've got your whole lifetime to learn.
Martin Luther King was named after Martin Luther, but they're separated by about 400 years.
Martin Luther was a leader in the reformation movement, a Catholic priest who wanted the Catholic Church to change and reform from within. The Lutheran Church grew out of a movement he created that some of his followers continued and made into a reformation church. He did not actually start the Lutheran Church himself.
Well, good luck learning. The charming thing about you is you're not ashamed to be woefully wrong or even naïve, and can laugh at yourself about it.

Did you know that Catholics think that Madonna is Jesus's mother?
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Umm... My logic tells me that is not true, but I am so gullable, I am tempted to ask, really?
I don't think that is so.
I have a Dream that I'll nail 95 theses to a door, translate the Bible into German, and really piss off the Pope one day.
That's classic pirate.

A "madonna" is a name used for artistic dipictions of Mary. Usually referred to artwork combined with the baby Jesus such as "Madonna and child".

May I ask roughly how old you are? And what is your educational background? Do you have a job? (I am not looking for the kind of detail that would identify you - just some general indications.)
I am not trying to be rude to you, but .... I come from another world, shall we say, and after some of your responses on this and other threads I am wondering where you are 'coming from'.
