I have a 25 and a 27 year old and I call them kids. I also call teenagers... kids. Sometimes I call people in their 20's kids.
I agree. I think of people just a few years younger than myself [22] as kids.

Jersey Girl wrote:Stop right there. Disconnect alert! You and I have been talking about dispensing "free" birth control to underage minors and now you are lopping in pharmacists refusing to dispense birth control.
Do you see how you're hopping around here?
No I don't see. I think I've been rather consistent, actually. I have even played along as this thread as begun to be about baby goats and birth control.
Remember the OP? And my early clarifications for you? I'll bold the connects for you.
GoodK wrote:All I know is that there are pharmacists who are refusing to dispense birth control, and for religious reasons, and that is idiotic to me. I wish the pharmacists would loose their jobs for refusing to do their job properly...
If you had one shred of proof, you would shut up. But you can't. You're insecure.
So you have to rub your stink on everything. Just shut up. Here is what you do: Just focus on screwing your kids up with your crappy indoctrination. Just focus on brainwashing your kids so they hate you later. Just focus on that. When you're done with that, then you can work on the abortion doctors and Tommy Chong. How about that. With MTV and the internet these days its tough brainwashing a kid. Just focus on that. We're to old and too smart to be brainwashed by your crappy religion. Just worry about effing up your kids. Fantastic.
Religion is for idiots. They don't have to think so much. It's tough when you have to think. It's scary.
Uh oh. I might die. Bad things might happen to me for no good reason. Uh oh. Uh oh, there may not be a plan. Oh no. Therehas got to be a plan. There has got to be.... Just shut up all of you idiots.
Listen, I wouldn't care, but here is the thing:
Kevorkian spent 8 years in the joint, and kids can't get birth control because of you idiots. Gays can't get married because of you. If you could keep it to yourselves I wouldn't care, but you can't...
I'm not sure what your asking me Jersey Girl. I haven't had a recent experience were I was denied birth control, nor do I have friends that were denied birth control as far as I know. But I figured it was common knowledge that some pharmacists have refused to dispense birth control.
You seem to be running low on substance along with Harmony. Do you care to contribute anything or are you going to continue to harp at me for insignificant things and avoid the overall issue completely, Jersey Girl?
There isn't ONE overall issue here. You and I were discussing birth control to underage minors. You responded with something about pharmacists refusing to dispense birth control.
Those are two different issues.
Again, pick a spot and land on it.

Little GoodK has no lunch money, he spent it all on condoms. The teacher had to stop giving them out for free in homeroom ;)
Dangit. And after that fundraiser. Little Bond worked hard to sell those raffle tickets.

I never said "young people have no other choices". I said something along the lines of: It is not your choice to decide when someone deserves birth control.
You've presented no other alternative except free birth control vs pregnancy.
Of course you are entitled to have beliefs regarding sexuality and birth control. But when you essentially force young girls to have babies who don't want them or aren't capable of taking care of a baby, you are effecting all of us.
Beliefs? I've expressed opinions, not beliefs. Get that flag out of my face, GoodK. Who is "forcing" young girls to have babies?
Again, you've presented no other alternative except free birth control vs pregnancy.

Birth control is a good enough alternative for me. You are the one that has a problem with it, what is your alternative?

Abstinence or bust.
