That was great when the interviewer produced the "Bishop's Records" showing the 16 year-old wives, but the Jessop guy wouldn't even look at it. It's like "Dude, they're your own records!" I can't believe Texas CPS screwed this up so badly, but something needs to be done about that community.
I've never lived in Utah (or watched "Big Love"), so I was interested to see the suburban polygamists. As a libertarian (lower case "L"), I don't have a problem with adults having a consensual polygamous household, and it looked like they are about as happy as any monogamous wives I know (except for the whole "husband-sharing" thing; that's got to suck any way you slice it). It was sad to hear about the treatment some of the kids get at school.

I found this particularly striking, and it reminded me of how some defenders of the faith are seemingly incapable of even registering certain threatening information. I think it deserves its own thread.
