What is the real difference between MD and MA&DB?
Hi all.
As a new poster here, I am curious as to what you feel really sets you apart from the "other board"?
Respectfully,
Mudcat
by the way....I put a sig line in and can't see it. Can you?

Hey Mudcat--

Off the top of my head:
- Nobody gets banned here.
- Nobody gets temporarily suspended here.
- You're allowed to disagree with the administrators and moderators here without any fear of repercussions.
- Cross-posting is allowed here.
- Board wars are allowed here.
- We have a chat feature.
- Threads don't get closed here.
- Posts don't get deleted here.
- There isn't a "protected class" here.
- This board doesn't try to attract any sort of poster at the expense of another.
- You can say whatever you want here, just so long as you do so in the appropriate forum.
- Everyone gets their own blog here.

I suppose, if you have made it to Stake Pres...
then lax moderation makes for good humor.

It ain't like that, though, really. Try as one might, one just can't get on the bad side of the mods here. Trust me, Coggs has tried. Nothin' doin'.

We don't have Pahoran. Less is more.
by the way....I put a sig line in and can't see it. Can you?
On your posting screen, make sure you select "attach signature" box below the text box. Also you need to uncheck the "disable BBCode" box. Only leave the attach signature box clicked and your signature will show up in new posts.
Edit: I fixed it for you. [I'm a mod here and that's how I roll. ANother cool thing is we don't hide behind stupid moderating sockpuppets with retarded names like Mad. Although if we did mine would be named "Nutcracker" and Shades' would probably be named "Gunther the Grammar Nazi" because we're badass here].

One negative though is lack of smilies [the real kind, not the wussy ;) type]. Come on Shades...let my smilies go!
Also anyone can have a blog at MAD now...they're just very hidden and hard to navigate too. Also they have sucky blog writers. Not a Scratch in site.

I think I get the gist of it. Kinda like paintball with no goggles.
