About 7 years ago DCP and I had a long email exchange about the apologetic materials not being readily available to apologists. It was frustrating to us. I was willing to buy just about anything at the time, but when he came out with his article on Psalms 82 I spent about 4 hours typing it all out and put it on the web for everyone to see.
At the time I had an obscure website that few people knew abou and I uploaded it theret. A week later I got an emails from someone at FARMS asking me to remove it. So I did. I then emailed what I had done to everyone I knew on the apologetics list. Dan then emailed me a couple of days later and essentially apologized for "getting you in trouble." He didn't realize that website was mine. Then we got into a long discussion about the subject of availability of apologetic materials. He agreed with everything I said, and in fact he said he was pretty vocal within FARMS in trying to make everything accessible for free from the website.
I don't think he is in this for the money. If he found out tomorrow he would never get paid another dime (an he is most likely only making a few dimes) for any apologetic he writes, he'd still keep pumping them out. It is his passion. And when he advertises his books or CDs, this can be seen in one of two ways. You can assume he is trying to just make a buck off of you or you can give him the benefit of the doubt and see he is just trying to point you in the direction of what he has already said on a given subject.
I've learned to give him the benefit of the doubt.

But that is not Ole Scratchy's style. He/she scourers for anything that he/she can use to smear and assassinate an apologists character. He/she has "informants" that give scratch fodder and then Scratch spins and inserts innuendo to paint the worst conclusion. Frankly it is quite a parade of nonsense. Scratch often declares victory without substantial facts and but rather declares that victory based on his/her own faulty spin and conclusions. It is rather pitiful really.

Tread softly, JB, or pretty soon everyone will know about your youtube account too.

Somehow I doubt that Jason has a youtube account or if he did, I doubt that anything on it would somehow label him a jerk.
No, Jason is a good guy in my book. For example, he has not openly admitted to being a troll, as LoaP has. Nor is he guilty of the kind of lying and misogyny that our dear friend Blair has exhibited.

I didn't intend on labeling JB a jerk, or implying that a youtube account would label him as such. Sorry for any confusion.

Pretty much the same thing that would get him labeled a jerk here. Something he's managed to avoid; something you haven't managed to avoid.
