Who knows...maybe it would lessen some of the animosity between the two boards if people could meet in person and socialize in a real life enviroment.
My good god damn. What, and then you all could play a friendly game of soccer and volleyball on the lawn at the stake center, then dance with each other in the gym-Ad-nauseam and drink de-caff colas?
At 9pm you all can gather around the fire for a testimony meeting. They come to bear em and we are there to bury em.
Years later some idiot TBM film maker would make a movie about it called "All Quiet on the Mo'pologetic Front"???
Of course there is animosities between the two fronts!!! They all think we are ravenous apostates who are destined for the rancid pit of hell, and we think that they are goddamned brainless stupid twits.

Daniel/Darin is talking about going to the Weds night get-together over on the MADB. He's also trying to participate in the clean-up and informal dinner Friday after it's over (he can't attend the day sessions b/c of work). Someone made the mistake of encouraging him to try to do the informal Friday dinners, but Juliann and Jan are trying their best to discourage him, essentially contradicting calmoriah's account of what happens on Friday nights to keep him away. It's actually a bit funny, but I feel sorry for Daniel.
Is that the poster known as "Daniel"?
(yeesh...trying to discourage anyone who is interested from coming to a dinner? Maybe they should do invitations like a 12 year olds birthday party...childish)

That's the fella.
He seems truly interested in meeting with the folks from the board. I think it sounds like a good idea. It's harder to vilify gays to their face rather than through the filter of the internets.

Yeah, but don't underestimate bigots and homophobes [just this day I learned that the Jews are a greedy race who are behind all wars. I love Christian Bible thumpers]
