I loved the part when the Dad whips out the Book of Mormon for reading and the older kids screams with excitement, "AAAAOOOOOOWWWWW" as he pumps his fist down!

For me, seeing the lie of the lost manuscript dramatized was priceless. I knew the story was BS, but seeing it brought to life... Hilarious.
“I was hooked from the start,” Snoop Dogg said. “We talked about the purpose of life, played Mousetrap, and ate brownies. The kids thought it was off the hook, for real.”

The constant theme song has its own underlying appropriateness:
"Joseph Smith he was a prophet DUMB DUMB DUMB DUMB DUMB... he translated plates even though no one else saw them, DUMB DUMB DUMB DUMB DUMB "

But other people did see the plates according to their own words.
"Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb!" Hysterically unique and creative. Brilliant!

Am I wrong, or were all the accounts of seeing the plates best understood as a spiritual or visionary viewing? I have it in my head that I read a piece by Dan Vogel (maybe?) that argued as much....
Speaking of, anyone know what Dan is up to nowadays? Can't recall seeing much of him on the boards in a while....
Edited to add: Just saw that Dan has been posting on MAD, and about this very topic....
