Elder Ballard on Michael Medved Show
Just saw it mentioned MADly that Elder Ballard was being interviewed on Medved's radio show. Anyone catch it?

Just a little over half during lunch. Gave me indigestion. Nothing but softballs.
If Medved were a little more intelligent, he would be disturbed by the fact that the LDS and FLDS worship the identical God and it's founders, have no transparency in financials, and that geneology and the temples are there to re-lable his ancestors Mormon. He has no clue of what is beneath the structure.
The Mormon church is not one of the fastest growing church's in the world. Hasn't it even flatlined in the US?
They have yet to publically quantify the fact that I and others are no longer members.
The South American and other 3rd world country membership stats are bald faced lies.
How can they ethically quantify members that never existed or never returned after baptism? They can't.
"isn't it wonderful?" (barf)

Yes, Charlie Brown. A swift kick to the crotch is a necessary element of any good interview.

He didn't dig any further past a nice Mormon neighbor or two.
If he did about 20 minutes of research, he would have had questions to ask even his neighbors.
How about,
1) "Why are my grandparents names on the membership records of your church?"
2) "Why has the church's membership numbers flat lined in the United States?"
3) "How many members submitted their names for resignation the last five years?"
4) "How many members of the 12 million are currently active?" - "What does it mean to be currently active?"
5) "How many members of the 12 million are not accounted for?"
6) "How many members are full tithe payers?"
7) "How many member that are full tithe payers attend the temple often?" - "what is often?" "Would this number constitute the faithful membership of the Mormon church?"
8) "Why does not the LDS church practice full disclosure in their financial affairs?"
9) What makes the LDS and FLDS different since both profess to believe implicitely in the same Jesus, the Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith and Brigham Young?
10) "What year was it that the church rescinded the ' better for your virgin children to return in a pine box' doctrine?"
11) "What constitutes the 'mind and will of the Lord' as apposed to trends, fads, whims and opinions?" - "..examples?"
12) "Does the Mormon church actively participate in, sympathise with or encourage apologetic groups?" "why?"
13) When Jesus returns, will he be required to shave and wair a conservative suit and tie before he is permitted to speak in general conference)?
14) As a followup to #13 "Will garments drenched in the blood of muslims and other heathens be the new garb for all priesthood (and potential) priesthood bearers?"
It was a milk toast interview.
Time for a little hardball.
