Not true. People can be whatever they want. Mormons don't view people of other faiths as haters. And even those who challenge the Church are not haters depending on how they do it.

Personally, I think that same person would likely behave the same way to any perceived authoritative security personnel, were they able to get away with it.

They may hate the founders, theology, even current leaders for what they view as deception but I doubt they hate Mormons as individuals.
As to who/what she knows.. its most likley from her family and church that she is conditioned to think that those that who do not share her beliefs are haters.
