TD wasn't talking about the entire spectrum of the human species - obviously we all know there are some really repellent people in this world who say all sorts of horrid things about other human beings. She's talking about people she's associated with - you know, people you normally think of us being decent human beings. Part of what is disturbing about seeing LDS and exLDS use the disabled to mock is that LDS tend to be decent human beings. For heaven's sake, the LDS church teaches that special needs people were so worthy in the pre-existence that they don't even have to be tested in this life. Then some turn around and act like this???
Of course if you want to hang around the dregs of humanity, you're going to hear much worse. But please use some common sense in interpreting TD's statements.

There was a time where I was in a History Class in High School on the Holocaust. I wasn't paying attention and was talking to my friend. He made a hilarious quip. I burst out laughing and all eyes were on me. I then realized that the teacher had just shared with the class that at least 5 million Jews died in the Holocaust....and I burst out laughing. If that were intentional, that MIGHT have been a crime against decency and in bad taste.

by the way, this is why threads become about you. You have the tendency to say repulsive things. Perhaps it's part of your "troll" personae, I have no idea, but I really need to know nothing else.
For anyone else who thinks it's funny or not repulsive - I want you to think about how you would feel if you found out, after posting such a picture, that the girl in the picture was actually the child of one of the posters. It shouldn't have to be personal like that, but maybe making it personal would help.
