Heh. Well I was being playful tooooo.... :)
I just thought it was an interesting question asbestosman posed a while back on the boards questioning if there is a genetic component as to why Utahans are attracted to other Utahans? I don't think I know anyone from Utah off the net -- they don't come down about these here um parts (where's there's no doubt quite a bit of inbreeding!:) to notice if I find them more attractive than the usual.

Woah! I need to stop reading that board!
Lehi the "libertarian" that is concerned about sexual immorality (insert confuzzled smilie here) says this:
I get tickled at religious libertarians. What they actually mean to say is that they're Republicans that are frickin' hard core.

Oh, yes it is. Immorality is optional. If someone is immoral, it is his own choice, and he should pay the consequences of his act. Forbidding people from paying those consequences gives us at least two evils:
1. The person himself doesn't learn the lesson. E.G., how many women use abortion as their primary means of birth control? Since there is no serious price to pay, why not engage in promiscuous sex?
2. No one else learns from his mistake, either. We have all heard that even wicked people have value because they serve as bad examples. But when the results of wickedness are erased, others can't use those bad examples.

Holy cow, what a cretin. Let's ban lightning rods! lightning rods keep God from blasting sinners, which ought to happen to remind us that the wages of sin is death.

Nooooo we need to strap lightning rods on to sinners for this to be truly effective. We'll have nice lil crispy sinners to remind us of evils and keep us on the straight and narrow.
