This Wives of Joseph Smith exhibit is a great idea. It should be used at more LDS events including General Conference.
If they wanted to ratchet it up a notch, they'd have the married ones standing arm in arm with their first husbands. The men could tell their stories too, like how they were called on a far away mission by the prophet, who then married their wife.

don't be decieved, they knew a lot of Physical concepts back then. Perhaps moroni was travelling through time and each time he visited he had come from a different time zone and he just happened to play playing a role in Star Wars at that time and forgot to leave it behind.

It's said that polygamy has little to do with attraction, it's simply a commandment OF god.
It has nothing to do with sex as sex is far easier to obtain without having to go through the rigamarole of marriage.
Traditional western marriage usually involves physical attraction, at least early on. Typically there is more than just a desire for sex that brings people together, but there is some type of attraction whether it's physical, emotional, or whatever that causes two people to meet, date, fall in love, and eventually marry. Of course, I'm talking about tradtional Western courtship and marriage, which has little in common with polygamy. Polygamy isn't about two people meeting and falling in love. Polygamy is simply about a group of people being obedient to their religious leaders.

You might be partly right about not being about the sex.. It was about his ability to abuse power over others.
