Since they refuse to identify themselves, it's anyone's guess.

by the way, that image was really creepy looking. I hate bugs! (But I love you, Merc) LOL

For the purpose of sorting things out here, it really won't matter if they choose to identify themselves.

Its not the anonymous nature of the aforementioned sentiments against Jersey. Its that we don't know what the supposed offenses were. I wish someone would shed light on the nature of Jerseys transgressions. If not for setting board precedent then on General principal.

Mercury you wrote,

Anyone who knows me (and I don't claim that many here do though there are certainly some) knows that when the issues relate to character, integrity, principle or intellectual honesty, that I will offer (sometimes strident) challenge. You might have witnessed that in my posts on behalf of others on this board. How much more strongly do you suppose someone like me would challenge on their own behalf?

People who participate on a board like this need to know they are in good hands. If there are things such as favoritism, secrecy (opposed to privacy), lack of thoroughness on the part of admin or moderators, then this board may as well be MAD. Indeed, MADites who lurk here are no doubt watching this and laughing their collective asses off. Well, I can't help who is entertained by it.

This is your thread, Mercury. I'm ready. You just tell me when.

p.s. Mercury, that stinking cricket was just about the most horrific, traumatizing image I've ever seen on this board!

Good.

Anyone else care to comment on this thread while we wait for information from the other party involved?

I don't understand the idea of an underground with the power to get a mod stripped of mod powers. Who exactly is in this underground movement? And why do they have such clout? And why isn't anyone listening to the aboveground groundswell of support? Inquiring minds want to know.

Must things always get back to the Reptillians tunneling under the Temple and the new City Creek Center?

Can the other party hurry up or a reason be given for the suspension? I'm not dying without the knowledge, but this is going to go on for months if someone doesn't say what's up.

Thing is, this kind of thing is something we'd all expect from MAD and the LDS church, not MDB. That which is hidden is unproductive in an open society.

I think I have a vague idea of what happened and who complained (for the record, not me), but I can only think of perhaps two people who may have raised enough of a stink. And as far as I know, Jersey Girl explained her actions in that one instance.

Still, if this is such an open and free-speech forum, why all the secrecy? Is there no such thing as second chances, if indeed there was a valid issue? If Jersey Girl wants to be a mod, let her.
