You raise a good point here.

I've heard stories of religious extremists in the middle east who cut the clitoris out of infant girls so that they can still reproduce, but they won't enjoy sex. We are all appalled at such brutality, but don't really bat an eye at circumcision.

Obviously, it's degrees of brutality. A circumcised boy really doesn't notice much impact on his life, where one of these girls would notice an incredible impact. But still....

I'll have to think about this one for a while.

YOU are trolling, by posting a bunch of nonsense that you can't back with anything other than your assertions.

YOU are trolling when you make assumptions about people's motives based on your assumptions.

WHY would you assume that I'm an advocate of child abuse, because I called you out (do you even have kids, or are you some socially-disgruntled 15-year-old with nothing to do?) on your opinions on how every child in this world should be raised?

The assumption that I and anyone else who doesn't agree with you advocates child abuse. The assumption that those who choose to lead their lives led by religion are abusing their children.
