Okay--so the sketch isn't really about Mormon apologetics. But, while watching Monty Python with my older two daughters this morning, I found the hilarious "Dead Parrot" sketch a perfect parody for apologetic attempts to defend Mormonism.
Monty Python's Dead Parrot
Customer: "I wish to complain about this parrot I purchased not half an hour ago from this very boutique."
Shopkeeper: “Yes. The Norwegian Blue. What’s wrong with it?"
C: "I’ll tell you what’s wrong with it. It’s dead. That’s what’s wrong with it."
S: "No, no, it’s restin’. Look."
C: "Look mate, I know a dead parrot when I see one and I’m looking at one right now!”
S: "No, no, it’s just restin’. Remarkable bird, the Norwegian Blue. Beautiful plumage, in’t it?"
C: "The plumage don’t enter into it! It’s still dead."
S: "No, no, it’s restin’"
…
C: “That parrot is definitely deceased! When I bought it just half an hour ago, you assured me it’s lack of movement was due to it’s being tired and shagged out after a long squawk.”
S: “It’s probably pining for the fjords.”

If you want a minute-by-minute accounting of my time -- I read six books last week (three on Islam, one on American politics, one on near-death experiences, and Nietzsche's The Antichrist) and edited a substantial portion of Qadi 'Abd al-Jabbar's Critique of Christian Origins for publication in both Arabic and English while helping a son to move his stuff to the east coast -- just contact Scratch and ask him for the most recent data. My plane back to Salt Lake landed just before 11 PM last night.
Personally, I think I'm entitled to a bit of a break before I get back to work. If you feel differently, be sure to so indicate. The details of my personal schedule are, I realize, an important concern to several of you here.

I am interested. What is your upcoming schedule?
Bishopric stuff tomorrow and Wednesday night. Participation in an international conference on the pre-Socratic philosophers at BYU for the first three days of this coming week (I'm chairing a session), then, skipping out on the latter part of the conference, three days at the Utah Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City (my wife's and my annual pilgrimage). Then back to Utah for a few days for some meetings, research, editing, and bishopric stuff, and then down to Las Vegas for a debate with Robert Spencer and a presentation on the Qur’an. Then, I hope, up to meet my wife and parents-in-law on the Oregon coast. (I'm missing most of that trip because of my obligation in Las Vegas).
