You don't like my AVs, huh? Maybe a little background will help. My current AV is cut from Emile Bayard's A Horned Devil Presides over the Sabbat. He is also the Les Miserables Illustrator guy. This is a fantastic work that takes me back to my childhood. I think. A friend had checked out a stack of books on magic tricks and this book called "The History of Magic" accidently got mixed in. That book Terrified us because it was all about Satan worship. See, I thought there was a drawing in there called "Satan Presides Over the Sacrament". But I think this might be what it was. Can you imagine though, the Satanic version of Sacrament Meeting? "Brothers and Sisters, we are indeed grateful all of you could join us this lovely morning. We acknowledged the presence of a horned devil on the stand who presides over today's meeting. Let us show him the proper reverence he deserves. We will begin our proceedings by chanting hymn number 204, "Ali Domino Ino Ma" after which..."
So do you like it any better now?
And my last av was photoshoped. It was an interpretive piece that was partially created by myself. It was a picture of the Nauvoo Temple in flames. Above it was a cross that had been flipped upside down, the cross being made of a reduced photo of a striking match. Now the art literally just flowed though me, I was sort of like a medium, and it is not for me to say what any of that meant, it's up to the observer to interpret.
So did that help you like it better?
